Reiki
Reiki is a Japanese word for Universal (Rei) Life Force Energy (Ki). Reiki is a hands-on healing modality that uses universal life force energy (Ki) to support the body’s natural ability to heal itself. We all have Ki (life force) flowing through us, it is vital for life to exist and is present in and around all living things. When the flow of life force is blocked or limited our bodies natural ability to heal is compromised.
Reiki heals by unblocking these energy channels of the body known as chakra’s and meridians as well as in and around the aura. It clears and helps the energy pathways by allowing our life force to flow in a healthy, natural and balanced way.
 Reiki has a positive effect on all health and wellbeing concerns, from depression, stress, anxiety, chronic pain and illness. It can help shift not only physical but also emotional blockages that may have been causing illnesses or emotional upsets. Reiki is often used successfully alongside conventional and complementary medicines.
Most animals that are used to being handled by people are going to enjoy a Reiki treatment. It works well with animals for the same reasons it works on children and adults, it provides them with the same benefits and healing we experience. Just as we do, animals also have a chakra system, they are naturally intuitive and are extremely open to Reiki.
Just like some of us though, some animals may not be willing or able to come to me or be comfortable enough to have a strange lady touching them, so I am more than happy to provide treatments at either my house or conduct a treatment via Distance healing (Remote Healing) if your pet or you for that matter would prefer it.
I first found the gift of Reiki when I was having my own health issues, I started receiving Reiki treatments and found them to be completely different to anything else I had experienced. After many treatments and probably a fair bit of clearing of some emotional baggage, I decided to complete the three levels of training required to become a Reiki Master (Usui Lineage). Along the way I practiced on my human friends, (a big thank you to all those that allowed me to do so) and also my four legged clients with good results, so decided to offer the practice as part of my Wagging Tails business to not only pets, but also to their owners as well, of course if you don’t have a pet that is fine too, you are more than welcome to book in for a treatment.

Prices:
Initial/Extended Reiki Treatment
1.5 hours - $100
This 1.5 hour session is recommended for your first visit or if you have been feeling like you are totally out of balance or dealing with complex health problems and need extra time for a deeper healing treatment. This session includes a full Reiki healing treatment and chakra balancing, plus additional time to allow for any extra areas that need some additional energy.
Full Reiki Treatment
1 hour - $85
A full hour session, allowing you the time to really relax into the treatment. This session is for those who have had regular Reiki treatments and want to continue achieving the benefits that Reiki can bring. This session includes a full Reiki treatment, plus chakra balancing.
Pet Reiki
30 – 45 minutes (depending on the pet) $55 - $60
Perfect for your furry four legged family members, this Reiki treatment includes a full animal healing, plus if the pet allows, a chakra scan and balancing using crystals.
Treatment packages:
These packages are extremely beneficial when you have chronic health problems, trauma or long periods of stress or anxiety in your life. These treatments can be spread out weekly or fortnightly, or longer if you prefer.
